Refund policy

At Warnerson Construction Ltd, we provide construction, installation, and building finishing services. Due to the bespoke and service-based nature of our work, our returns and refunds policy differs from standard retail businesses.

This policy is designed in accordance with applicable UK consumer law, including the Consumer Rights Act 2015 and the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013.

Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, you are entitled to expect all services to carried out with reasonable care and skill and materials supplied to be of satisfactory quality, fit for purpose, and as described.

If these standards are not met, you may be entitled to a repair or re-performance of the service, and price reduction where appropriate.

Under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 you have the right to cancel within 14 days of entering into a contract if the agreement was made remotely (e.g., online) or in your home.

This right may be lost if you requested work to begin within the 14-day period, AND you acknowledged that your cancellation rights would end once the service is fully performed.

If you cancel after work has started you must pay for any work completed up to the cancellation date. A deposit is typically required to secure your booking and cover initial costs, and deposits are non-refundable once materials have been purchased, or work has commenced.

If cancellation occurs before any costs are incurred, a refund may be issued at our discretion.

Before work begins cancellations must be made in writing and any costs already incurred (e.g., planning, materials, labour allocation) will be deducted.

If you cancel after work has started, you will be charged for labour completed to date, materials ordered or used and any non-recoverable costs.

Under UK law, you are entitled to a repair, replacement, or refund if materials supplied are faulty, not as described or not fit for purpose.

Unused materials may only be returned if they are unused and in original condition, and the supplier accepts returns.

Any restocking or delivery fees will be deducted from refunds.

Installed materials are non-returnable unless faulty.

If you believe work has not been carried out to a satisfactory standard you must notify us within 14 days of completion and we will inspect the issue. Where valid, we will repair or correct the work at no additional cost, and refunds will only be considered if a repair is not possible, or we are unable to resolve the issue within a reasonable timeframe.

Refunds may be issued where:

  • Work has not started and no costs have been incurred
  • Services cannot be delivered due to our fault
  • A legal remedy applies under UK consumer law

Refunds will not be issued for:

  • Change of mind after work has started
  • Minor variations within agreed specifications
  • Issues caused by third parties or pre-existing conditions

Approved refunds are processed within 7-14 business days. Refunds are issued via the original payment method unless otherwise agreed

To request a refund or report an issue, please contact us on 07817 468598 or email: sales@warnersonconstruction.com

Please include:

We aim to resolve all complaints quickly and fairly. If a resolution cannot be reached, you may seek further advice from Citizens Advice or Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) providers.

We may update this policy from time to time. The latest version will always be available on our website.
